Bring the Bling to These Virtual Galas This Holiday Season

COVID-19 is cancelling a lot of traditional events this holiday season. But you can still celebrate the seasons in style by logging in to one of the many virtual galas, gala-worthy performances, and elaborate holiday parties that are available online.

How to Attend a Virtual Gala with Your Furry Friend

Because you’ll be joining from home, you can invite your favorite furry friend to the party. Better yet – both of you can bring the bling by dressing to the nines, thanks to our GALA collection of rhinestone dog collars and leashes.

These swarovski-studded sets come in black and red leather and include a collar, leash, and waste bag holder, all made from luxurious Italian leather. As a bonus, we’ll make a donation to Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County for every GALA collection purchase: $10 per GALA collar and $5 for each GALA leash and each GALA bag holder you buy.

If you buy the whole set, you’ll generate a $20 donation to support the local community in Orange County.Rhinestone dog collar leash set in bordeaux leather - GALA

Top Virtual Galas To Attend This Season

Now that you know what your pup will be wearing, the next step is to decide which virtual galas to attend together.

Since you’ll be logging in from home, there’s no need to limit yourself by location. And in many cases, even if you miss the live event, you can still celebrate the season by re-living the moment online, on your own time.

We have highlighted three gala-worthy events below. If you want more, follow Puppy Panache on Instagram for daily tips on additional online events and performances guaranteed to brighten the holiday season.

Virtual Gala #1: Glide 2020 Holiday Jam: Rise Up for Change

This annual fundraising gala for Glide Memorial Church in San Francisco features live performances by nationally- and internationally-recognized artists. Over the past decade, those performers have included Sheila E., members of the Doobie Brothers, Grammy Award winning singers India.Arie and Lisa Fischer, and Grammy-nominated Goapele.

The dance-in-the-aisles-style event draws a wide range of attendees, from San Francisco’s wealthiest residents to the beneficiaries of Glide’s community services, which include free meals, after-school programs, crisis intervention, adult education, and harm-reduction for HIV and Hepatitis C.

Joan Baez and Michael Franti headlined this year’s event, which took place on November 19. Lucky for us, the Glide 2020 Holiday Jam is still available online, and is free for anyone to enjoy. Of course, you can still make a donation if you choose.

Each weekend in December features a different line-up of storytelling, cooking demonstrations, family-friendly activities, and shopping opportunities. Take a stroll down Petticoat Lane, belly up to the bar at Mad Sal’s Dockside Alehouse, and sing along with the Fezziwig Family – all from the comfort of your very own home.
